Cruise Ship Tourism
Ideology is at the forefront of global development of the Cruise Ship Industry through training, advice and education. Ross is an Advisor to the industry body ‘Cruise Down Under’ which has members in Australia, Fiji, Indonesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
He is also a Co-Founder of the ‘Cruise Research Society’ based in Germany.


In 2006 Ross edited the world’s first major book on the subject ‘Cruise Ship Tourism’, CABI Publishers, UK. Between 2006 -2008 Ross led a team of researchers conducting research into the ‘Environmental and Cultural Aspects of Expedition Cruising in the Kimberley Region’ for the Western Australian Government.

Ross and Wendy are sought after cruise ship lecturers and have undertaken assignments for the Cunard Line, Orion Expedition Cruises and Silversea Cruises. Their next assignment is on Oceania Cruises’ Marina through the Pacific Ocean in early 2013.
